Dr. Svetlana Tatuskar is presently the Director of Kohinoor Business School, Mumbai, India. She comes with 23 years of experience in research, teaching, mentoring and training. She completed her Ph.D in Banking and her Masters in Commerce and is also an Accounting Technician from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Her Ph.D fetched her the Reserve Bank of India (The Central Bank of India) Scholarship for a project on Banking consolidation as well as her PhD received the best PhD award by Prestige Institute of Management, Indore. Dr. Svetlana has published extensively in the areas of banking , mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and wealth management. She has more than 95 Research papers to her credit presented and published at both National and International Journals. She is presently appointed as an Extraordinary Professor at North-West University, South Africa to contribute to Research related engagements at the University.
Dr. Svetlana is empaneled as a SMART Trainer with Securities Exchange Board of India, the Capital Market regulator in India and has conducted several Financial Literacy Programs. She is also the Vice-President, Maharashtra State for WICCI- Women Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Financial Literacy Council. She has been appointed as an external member with many companies on POSH matters and has given POSH consultancy for the past seven years. She is also a trainer with Institute of Companies Secretaries of India for assignments related to POSH matters both on compliance as well as trainings and certifications for both accomplished professionals as well as students. She is on three Panels of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) - Industry Academia, Women Empowerment and Skill Development.
Dr. Svetlana is a consultant and academic and financial expert on feasibility analysis at EdCil , which is a Miniratna company under GoI, Ministry of Education. Her consulting activities involve financial feasibility studies and restructuring strategies for variety of universities and companies in India. Dr. Svetlana is also a dedicated educator and mentor. She has assisted numerous students in the fields of financial literacy, banking, mergers and acquisitions, valuations, many of whom have gone on to successful careers in academia and industry.
Dr. Svetlana is associated as a Trainer with Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), At TISS she is heavily engaged in imparting training to students belonging to humbled homes under the banner of the project of National University Students Skill Development – A Ministry of HRD initiative. She has conducted several training programs for Corporates on POSH, Wealth Management, Financial Statement Analysis and Restructuring. She is on the board of studies of B-schools in India. Her hobbies are reading and photography.

IEEE STEM Champion 2023, An overwhelming number of applications, 92 in all, were received from volunteers all over the world. 26 IEEE STEM Champions were selected. With over 80 research papers to her name on topics ranging from image processing, robotics and IOT, Dr. Vijayalaxmi sure has carved a niche for herself in her field. An active senior IEEE member since 12 years, she has meticulously handled the positions of Chairperson ( WIE Hyderabad section) and analysis manager ( R10 WIE). She was also selected as volunteer and exemplary volunteer for IEEE WIE - ILC at San Jose, USA in 2017 and 2018.
She was granted research and consultancy projects worth 70 lakhs from SERB, Govt. of India, epics in IEEE, SIGHT/HAC, IEEMA, IEEE CSS, Unnat Bharat abhiyan.
She also has 2 patents to her name.

In India, she has worked with prestigious educational institutions on Indian, British and European Education Systems. She publishes and presents regularly in national and international conferences as well as writes in Journals and is active on social media. Her papers and case studies have been published in ABDC Listed journals, Richard Ivey cases and Harvard Business Publishing.

Her second book, “Diversity and Inclusiveness in India Inc: Practitioner Perspective” was published by Springer. Her third book, “Diversity & Inclusiveness in the Startup Ecosystem”, is in print with Springer. She is the Co-Chair of the Centre of Excellence – Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Woxsen University.

Foundation of this campaign has roots in social and environmental issues like gender equality, Sustainable cities and communities. For the same, i have got several recognitions and was also featured in leading newspaper articles.

He is a recipient of the Outstanding Young Faculty Fellowship Award at IIT Delhi and Prof. M.N. Srinivas Memorial Prize of the Indian Sociological Society. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at LIRNEasia, a leading regional ICT policy and regulation think tank. He has received large research grants from Dept of Science & Technology (Govt of India), ICSSR (India), IDRC (Canada), Oxford Analytica (UK), IPTS (European Commission), CIPPEC (Argentina) and IdeaCorp (Philippines).
